you know what i don’t understand? i’ve never known what maundy meant. does it mean holy? i know people also refer to maundy thursday as holy thursday, but i’ve never taken the time to ask/figure it out on my own.
we went to cumberland for easter, got there thursday night.. it was such a nice weekend without work. we pretty much just hung out around the house & went to the mall a few times. saturday night, the whole family went to the movies- we saw meet the browns, one of tyler perry’s new movies. somehow, every time we’re in cumberland “madea’s family reunion” is always on tv. we’ve seen that movie like a hundred times, but it’s funny. anyway, meet the browns wasn’t funny like madea, but it was humorous at times & the story was still good.
sunday, i went to choir practice early, apparently i’ve been signed up to be in the choir at church when i’m there. i can’t wait to be able to sing every sunday when we move. i haven’t been in a choir in almost 3 years, i miss singing so much! darn pam for leaving me & moving away and taking our gorgeous voice lessons away.
after church, we had lunch & then jeremy & i took a nap for awhile, i’ve been so tired lately. we had a delicious easter dinner & left for beaver falls when the in-laws went to church. oh, how i hate having to leave cumberland to come back to the crummy beaver falls. may 14th cannot come soon enough!
my last day at the gap is may 2nd, and i can’t decide if i want to transfer to another gap when i move or not. the closest one is an hour away & i’d only work there on a saturday to keep the discount.
i have a couple books i want to read, or start reading. they’re all ones we got during marriage counseling or as wedding presents. there’s this really interesting one called “when sinners say ‘i do’” & also, “love that lasts” hopefully i’ll find some time to start reading them.
jeremy and i are getting ready to head to the grocery store, we need food! i love my husband, i’m so happy we’re together, he’s amazing & takes care of me & i’m so so blessed to be able to call him my match.
