so today, after doing a lot of nothing, this is my story of tonight:
jeremy came home from his classes and we hung out & watched friends for awhile, then we decided to go to robinson so jeremy could get some nice clothes at the gap & old navy. so we’re driving there and we got past the pitt airport and we were forced to stop, about 3 cars ahead of us, two police SUVs made everyone on the interstate stop… for no reason.
so we were stopped for about 10 minutes & jeremy and i were discussing what could be happening. i was trying to think of fun & exciting things… and my husband came up with someone was moving something really big so they needed more room so they wouldn’t back up traffic anymore. very boring answer.
we got to robinson & did our shopping, and got some great clothes for jeremy. the first shopping trip where i didn’t get anything, i think.
so as we’re getting ready to leave the mall & head down the street to old navy, we were stopped AGAIN at the on ramp for the freeway! except this time, there was a policeman outside and he waved me forward so i was the first person in line, and he said that the president was coming through & we couldn’t be on the road.
i was so happy that the reason we couldn’t drive was something more exciting than some stupid truck moving something huge.. so we waited there for about 10 minutes and then there he was! well, of course, after like 15098 police vehicles drove by first. i decided i needed to have a picture of this… you know, not because i’m inherently proud that i got to see the president (he is ruining our country, i don’t care what you say) but because i never get to see famous people! it’s not fair. pittsburgh has absolutely no one famous. all they care about is football & i don’t like bigben. i’m sorry. if i lived in new york, i’d be walking around famous people all the time- do you know how many celebrities live in new york? NONE live in pittsburgh!
